Stephen P. Banco, MD received his undergraduate degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his surgical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his Fellowship in Spinal Surgery at The New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Banco has published original research articles in The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Spine and Current Opinions of in Orthopaedics. Dr. Banco is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The North American Spine Society and the Pennsylvania and Berks County Medical Societies.
